basāni kaṭukā bimbī sarvaṃ caivekṣuvaikṛtam | rase pāke ca madhuraṃ tad vidyāt trividhaṃ ca yat ||

Lotus tubers, kaṭukā, bimbī, and all products of sugarcane: / one should know whatever of these three kinds is sweet in taste and in post-digestive effect.
