athāśitena pītena khāditena ca yuktitaḥ | balamāpyāyate jantoḥ sadyo vahnirivendhanaiḥ ||

Now, by food eaten, drunk, and chewed properly, / the creature's strength is replenished at once, like fire by fuels.
