pādābhyāṃ na caretkṛṣṭe viṣame kaṇṭakeṣu ca | gahanaṃ paradārāṃś ca nadīḥ pūrṇāś ca na vrajet ||

He should not walk on foot in ploughed ground, rough terrain, or among thorns; / he should not go into thickets, to other men's wives, or into swollen rivers.
