sarvānsarīsṛpāṃś caiva kṣudrapādāṃś ca na spṛśet | mahiṣān gavayān khaḍgān vyāghrān siṃhāṃś ca varjayet ||

He should not touch any reptiles or small-footed [creatures]; / he should avoid buffaloes, gayals, rhinoceroses, tigers, and lions.
