tṛtīyaś cāturaḥ pādaḥ satyāśaṃsī praśasyate | lakṣaṇaś cātmavāṃś caiva kṛtajñassumanāś ca yaḥ ||

And the third limb is the patient; he is praised if truthful in speech, / possessing good bodily signs, self-controlled, grateful, and cheerful,
