4.7.3

hṛdayamekaṃ cetanāyatanam | daśa prāṇāyatanāni tad yathā---mūrdhā kaṇṭho hṛdayaṃ gudo nābhir vastirojaḥ śauklaṃ śoṇitaṃ māṃsam iti ||

The heart is the one seat of consciousness. There are ten seats of the life-breath, as follows: the head, the throat, the heart, the rectum, the umbilicus, the urinary bladder, ojas, semen, blood, and flesh.
