6.1.23

śītaṃ hi salilaṃ pītaṃ kopayetkaphamārutau | kuryād bhūyo ' gnimṛdutāṃ staimity amaruciṃ tathā ||

For cold water, when drunk, would aggravate phlegm and wind; / it would further cause sluggishness of the digestive fire, stiffness, and loss of appetite.
