auṣṇyādvātakaphau hanyāt llaghutvāt param eva ca | hṛdvyathāṃ vidhiyuktā tu sāhanyāt svedamāvahet ||

By its heat it destroys wind and phlegm, and especially by its lightness; / administered according to rule, it relieves distress in the heart and brings about sweating.
