bhūtavidyāsamutpannaṃ caṇḍakarma jvarāpaham | tatkāryaṃ bhūtavaidyena tathā nāviśati jvaraḥ ||
Fierce ritual action originating in demonology (bhūtavidyā) removes fever; / that should be performed by a demon-physician (bhūtavaidya), and so fever does not enter.
