kṣīrānupānaṃ bhakṣyāste modakā balavardhanāḥ | madyānupānāssevyāste śoṣaḥ śleṣmādhiko yadi ||

Those modakas, increasing strength, are to be eaten with milk as an after-drink; / they are to be consumed with liquor as an after-drink if the wasting has an excess of kapha.
