6.4.70

kṣīrānupānāttanvanti sadyaḥpoṣaṃ hi modakāḥ | vyākulātyalpādhātūnāṃ śoṣiṇāṃ mandadehinām ||

these modakas, followed by milk as a drink, indeed effect immediate nourishment / for wasting patients whose tissues are disordered and very meager, and whose bodily faculties are weak.
