atyarthamadhurodatto vidagdhaḥ stambhaved anām | grahaṇīṃ raktamarśāṃsi pāṇḍurogaṃ bhagandaram ||

Given excessively sweet, [when] scorched it obstructs the belly; / [it produces] sprue syndrome, bleeding piles, anaemia, and fistula-in-ano.
