ṛṣayaśca bharadvājājjagṛhustaṃ prajāhitam /
dīrghamāyuścikīrṣanto vedaṃ vardhanamāyuṣaḥ //
And the ṛṣis, seeking to attain a long life, received from Bharadvāja
that knowledge that promotes life and benefits humanity.
