śarīradoṣaprakope khalu śarīramevāśritya prāyaśastrividhamauṣadhamicchanti --- antaḥparimārjanaṃ, bahiḥparimārjanaṃ, śastrapraṇidhānaṃ ceti /
In the case of vitiation of bodily humors, resorting to the body itself, they generally maintain three kinds of medicine:
internal cleansing, external cleansing, and application of surgical instruments.
