āmāśayagate vāte kaphe pakvāśayāśrite/
rūkṣapūrvo hitaḥ svedaḥ snehapūrvastathaiva ca//
When vāta has entered the stomach, or kapha resides in the large intestine, / sudation preceded by dry [treatment] is beneficial, as is that preceded by unctuous [treatment] respectively.
