aṣṭāviṃśatirityetā yavāgvaḥ parikīrtitāḥ/
pañcakarmāṇi cāśritya prokto bhaiṣajyasaṃgrahaḥ//

Thus have these twenty-eight gruels been proclaimed,
and based upon the five actions, a compendium of medicaments has been taught.
