sadyaḥkṣīṇo hi sadyo vai tarpaṇenopacīyate/
narte saṃtarpaṇābhyāsāccirakṣīṇastu puṣyati//
For one who is emaciated suddenly is indeed nourished immediately by a nourishing potion; / but one emaciated for a long time does not thrive without habitual nourishment.
