puruṣaḥ puruṣādgaurgoraśvādaśvaḥ prajāyate /
pitryā mehādayaścoktā rogāstāvatra kāraṇam //

Man is born from man, cow from cow, horse from horse; / and diseases such as meha are stated to be hereditary; therefore parents are the cause here.”
