pittakṛt sṛṣṭaviṇmūtraḥ pāko 'amlaḥ śukranāśanaḥ /
teṣāṃ guruḥ syānmadhuraḥ kaṭukāmlāvato 'anyathā //
The sour post-digestive effect produces bile, releases feces and urine, and destroys semen; / of them, the sweet is heavy, whereas pungent and sour are the opposite.
