raktaśālirvarasteṣāṃ &tṛṣṇāghnastrimalāpahaḥ/
mahāṃstasyānu kalamastasyāpyanu tataḥ pare//
Among them, red śāli is the best, allaying thirst and removing the three impurities; / mahāśāli is next to it, kalama is next to that, and after that the others.
