snigdhoṣṇaṃ dāḍimaṃ hṛdyaṃ kaphapittāvirodhi ca/
rūkṣāmlaṃ dāḍimaṃ yattu tat pittānilakopanam//
Pomegranate is unctuous, hot, pleasing to the heart, and not incompatible with kapha and pitta; / that pomegranate which is dry and sour, however, aggravates pitta and wind.
