&tridoṣaṃ mandakaṃ, jātaṃ vātaghnaṃ dadhi, śukralaḥ/
saraḥ, śleṣmānilaghnastu maṇḍaḥ srotoviśodhanaḥ//
Improperly formed curd provokes all three doṣas; fully formed curd destroys wind; its cream is spermatic / and laxative; its whey, however, destroys śleṣman and wind, and clears the body channels.
