mukhapriyāśca hṛdyāśca dīpanā bhaktarocanāḥ//
Rāga and ṣāḍava drinks are pungent, sour, sweet, and salty, and are light; / they are pleasing to the mouth, agreeable to the heart, kindle the digestive fire, and stimulate appetite for food.
