medhāsmṛtikaraḥ pathyaḥ śoṣaghnaḥ kūrma ucyate/
khaḍgamāṃsamabhiṣyandi balakṛnmadhuraṃ smṛtam//

producing intellect and memory, wholesome, and dispelling consumption—thus the tortoise is declared. / Meat of the rhinoceros is considered abhiṣyanda [causing excessive outflow], strength-giving, and sweet;
