ubhe haridre kuṭajasya bījaṃ karañjabījaṃ sumanaḥpravālān/
tvacaṃ samadhyāṃ hayamārakasya lepaṃ tilakṣārayutaṃ vidadhyāt//
Both types of turmeric, seeds of kuṭaja, seeds of karañja, tender sprouts of sumanas,
and the bark of hayamāraka along with its pith: one should prepare a paste combined with alkali of sesame.
