sa cārthaḥ prakaraṇairuvibhāvyamāno bhūya eva śarīravṛttihetuvyādhikarmakāryakālakartṛkaraṇavidhiviniścayāddaśaprakaraṇaḥ tāni ca prakaraṇāni kevalenopadekṣyante tantreṇa //

And that subject matter, when broken down by topics, comprises indeed ten topics based on the determination of the body, maintenance, cause, disease, action, effect, time, agent, instrument, and procedure; and these topics will be taught by means of the treatise in its entirety.
