kaṇṭhāsyaśoṣo bādhiryaṃ śramaḥ sādo hṛdi vyathā /
pipāsānigrahāttatra śītaṃ tarpaṇamiṣyate //
Dryness of the throat and mouth, deafness, fatigue, exhaustion, and pain in the heart
occur from the suppression of thirst; there, a cold, refreshing drink is desirable.
