vidhirnāma---dvividhā vyādhayo jijāgantubhedena, trividhāstridoṣabhedena, caturvidhāḥ sādhyāsādhyamṛdudāruṇabhedena//

Variety (vidhi) is twofold by the division into innate and exogenous; threefold by the division into the three doṣas; and fourfold by the division into curable, incurable, mild, and severe.
