tatra prathamata eva tāvadādyāṃllobhābhidrohakopaprabhavānaṣṭau vyādhīnnidānapūrveṇa krameṇa vyākhyāsyāmaḥ, tathā sūtrasaṃgrahamātraṃ cikitsāyāḥ/

There, first of all, we shall explain the first eight diseases arising from greed, malice, and anger in regular order beginning with their etiology, as well as a mere aphoristic summary of their therapeutics.
