The Compendium of Caraka 2.2.25

2.2.25

bhṛśaṃ pūtyatimātraṃ ca sarvopadravavacca yat/
balamāṃsakṣaye yacca tacca raktamasiddhimat//

and that which is intensely foul-smelling, excessive, accompanied by all complications,
and occurs during loss of strength and muscle tissue—that blood is incurable.
