hitāśī syānmitāśī syātkālabhojī jitendriyaḥ/
paśyan rogān bahūn kaṣṭān buddhimān viṣamāśanāt//
One should eat wholesome food, eat moderately, eat at proper times, and have conquered the senses,
seeing the many dreadful diseases [arising] from irregular eating, if one is wise.
