nāsādhyaḥ sādhyatāṃ yāti sādhyo yāti tvasādhyatām/
pādāpacārāddaivādvā yānti bhāvāntaraṃ gadāḥ//
An incurable disease does not become curable, but a curable one becomes incurable; / through faults in the [four] pillars of treatment or through fate, diseases change their nature.
