athāgniveśaḥ papraccha---kinnu khalu bhagavan! jvaritebhyaḥ pānīyamuṣṇaṃ prayacchanti bhiṣajo bhūyiṣṭhaṃ na tathā śītam, asti ca śītasādhyo 'api dhāturjvarakara iti//

Then Agniveśa asked: "Why indeed, O Lord, do physicians generally give hot water to those with fever and not cold water likewise, even though there is a tissue that causes fever which is amenable to cold?"
