(prāyaḥ) śārīradoṣāṇāmekādhiṣṭhānīyānāṃ sannipātaḥ saṃsargo vā samānaguṇatvāt; doṣā hi dūṣaṇaiḥ samānāḥ//

Usually, bodily doshas residing in the same site undergo combination of three or combination of two, because of their shared qualities; for doshas are identical in that they vitiate.
