3.6.17

pittalasyāpi *pittaprakopaṇānyāsevamānasya kṣipraṃ pittaṃ prakopamāpadyate, na tathetarau doṣau; tadasya prakopamāpannaṃ yathoktairvikāraiḥ śarīramupatapati balavarṇasukhāyuṣāmupaghātāya/

Likewise, when a person predominantly of pitta indulges in things that provoke pitta, pitta quickly becomes aggravated, but not so the other two doshas; once aggravated in him, it afflicts the body with the aforesaid disorders, leading to the destruction of strength, complexion, happiness, and lifespan.
