3.7.19_1

tenaiva ca kaṣāyeṇa bāhyābhyantarān sarvodakārthān kārayecchaśvat; tadabhāve kaṭutiktakaṣāyāṇāmauṣadhānāṃ kvāthairmūtrakṣārairvā pariṣecayet/

And with that very decoction he should always carry out all water purposes, both external and internal; in its absence, he should sprinkle him with decoctions of pungent, bitter, and astringent medicinal herbs, or with urines and alkalis.
