atha tasmāddvitīyāt kumbhāt snehamādāya viḍaṅgataṇḍulacūrṇaiḥ snehārdhamātraiḥ pratisaṃsṛjyātape sarvamahaḥ sthāpayitvā tato 'asmai mātrāṃ prayacchet pānāya; tena sādhu viricyate, viriktasya cānupūrvī yathoktā/

Then, taking the oil from that second pot, combining it with powder of viḍaṅga seeds measuring half the quantity of the oil, and keeping it in the sun for an entire day, he should then give him a dose to drink; by this he is well purged, and after he is purged, the sequential regimen is as described.
