lavaṇakaṭutiktakaṣāyāṇi cendriyopaśayāni tathā 'aparāṇyanuktānyapi dravyāṇi yathāyogavihitāni śirovirecanārthamupadiśyante iti//

Saline, pungent, bitter, and astringent substances, wholesome to the sense faculties, as well as other unmentioned substances, properly prepared, are taught for the purpose of head evacuation.
