doṣādīnāṃ tu bhāvānāṃ sarveṣāmeva hetumat/
mānāt samyagvimānāni niruktāni vibhāgaśaḥ//
ityagniveśakṛte tantre carakapratisaṃskṛte vimānasthāne rogabhiṣagjitīyavimānaṃ nāmāṣṭamo 'adhyāyaḥ//

The precise measurements of all factors such as doṣas, endowed with reasons, / have been completely and analytically declared.
Thus ends the eighth chapter, named “The Specific Measurement of the Medical Treatment of Diseases,” in the section on Vimāna in the treatise composed by Agniveśa and redacted by Caraka.
