santīndriyāṇi santyarthā yogo na ca na cāsti ruk/
na sukhaṃ, kāraṇaṃ tasmādyoga eva caturvidhaḥ//
The senses exist, the objects exist; yet if there is no contact, there is no pain, / nor pleasure; therefore contact alone, which is fourfold, is the cause.
