karmātmakatvādviṣamāṃśabhedācchukrāsṛjorvṛddhimupaiti kukṣau/
eko 'adhiko nyūnataro dvitīya evaṃ yame 'apyabhyadhiko viśeṣaḥ //

Due to being determined by karma and due to the unequal division of parts of the semen and blood, one grows more in the belly, / the other less; thus even among twins a notable difference arises.
