4.3.12_3

yāni tu khalvasya garbhasya rasajāni, yāni cāsya rasataḥ saṃbhavataḥ saṃbhavanti, tānyanuvyākhyāsyāmaḥ; tadyathā---śarīrasyābhinirvṛttirabhivṛddhiḥ prāṇānubandhastṛptiḥ puṣṭirutsāhaśceti (rasajāni)//

We shall explain those factors of this embryo which are born of chyle, and which arise in it as it develops from chyle. They are as follows: production of the body, growth, continuation of life, contentment, nourishment, and enthusiasm—[these are] born of chyle.
