garbhātmā hyantarātmā yaḥ, taṃ 'jīva' ityācakṣate śāśvatamarujamajaramamaramakṣayamabhedyamacchedyamaloḍyaṃ viśvarūpaṃ viśvakarmāṇamavyaktamanādimanidhanamakṣaramapi/

For the self of the embryo, which is the inner self, is designated the 'living entity'—eternal, free from disease, free from old age, immortal, imperishable, indivisible, uncuttable, unshakeable, multiform, omniactive, unmanifest, without beginning, without end, and indestructible.
