mātṛjaṃ cāsya hṛdayaṃ mātṛhṛdayenābhisaṃbaddhaṃ bhavati rasavāhinībhiḥ saṃvāhinībhiḥ; tasmāttayostābhirbhaktiḥ saṃspandate /

And its heart, being born of the mother, is connected with the mother's heart by channels that carry chyle and circulate [fluids]; therefore, through these [channels], their affection vibrates in unison.
