4.6.18

teṣāṃ sarveṣāmeva vātapittaśleṣmāṇo duṣṭā dūṣayitāro bhavanti, doṣasvabhāvāt/

Of all of them indeed, vāta, pitta, and kapha, when corrupted, are the corrupters, owing to their nature as doṣas.
