4.8.42_1

kṛṣṇakapālikāśūrpeṇa cainamabhiniṣpuṇīyuryadyaceṣṭaḥ syād yāvat prāṇānāṃ pratyāgamanam (tattat sarvameva kāryam)/

And they should winnow him with a winnowing basket made of black potsherds if he is motionless, until the return of his vital breaths (all those things must be done).
