aroge tvarogavṛttamātiṣṭheddeśakālātmaguṇaviparyayeṇa vartamānaḥ, krameṇāsātmyāni parivartyopayuñjānaḥ sarvāṇyahitāni varjayet/

When he is free from disease, however, he should adhere to the regimen for the healthy, proceeding with measures contrary to the qualities of the region, time, and constitution; gradually turning away from unwholesome things and using [proper ones], he should avoid all harmful things.
