evaṃviddhāṃścāpyaparān parīkṣyaśothaprakārānanilādiliṅgaiḥ/
śāntiṃ nayeddoṣaharairyathāsvamālepanacchedanabhedadāhaiḥ//
Having examined other such varieties of swelling according to the signs of vāta and the others, / one should bring them to pacification with doṣa-relieving measures according to their nature, by pastes, excision, incising, and cauterization.
