6.12.83

adagdha īṣat pariśeṣitaśca prayāti bhūyo 'api śanairvivṛddhim/
tasmādaśeṣaḥ kuśalaiḥ samantācchedyo bhavedvīkṣya śarīradeśān//

If uncauterized and left even slightly remaining, it increases again slowly; / therefore, taking into account the regions of the body, it should be excised entirely all around by skilled [physicians].
