vipāṭhyāntraṃ tataḥ paścādvīkṣya baddhakṣatāntrayoḥ/
sarpiṣā 'abhyajya keśādīnavamṛjya vimokṣayet//

Having opened it, then afterwards having inspected the intestine in cases of obstructed or ruptured bowel, / having anointed with ghee and removed hairs and the like, he should release [the obstruction].
